A full class of participants braved an incoming snow storm to fill Harrowgate Elementary School in Chester Va. for the fourth in a series of five regional training seminars produced by the Future Fisherman Foundation and the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation.
Attendees were hosted by the Virginia Bass Federation and the Virginia Dept. of Game and Inland Fisheries for two days of training designed to build aquatic education and youth fishing opportunities across the country. Attendees represented 6 different states and also the Island of Puerto Rico.
The weekend proved to be an action packed seminar that had participants doing a variety of drills and exercises designed to show the new trainers ways to “catch” and hold students attention throughout the day.
